Roots

Like a tree you are deeply rooted in me
Like earth and sky we are here to unify
All the flowers inside me are ready to bloom
All the leaves covering you are ready to fall

The birds in our heads start to sing quite loud
Celebrating the love and the beauty of our souls
The sun on our skin will forever shine
Burning outrageously the traces of our desire

For with you I can climb mountains, with you I can run miles
This ray of light can never truly die
